The technique of stain for deck is water repellant if it is applied over which sometime make your deck sticky and slick surface. For avoiding such situation first you need to test on small area of the deck. For the best result of stain on your deck floor you need to clean your floor from dirt, dry and no mildew or mold. Whenever you want to apply stain on your deck make sure the weather of outside is suitable for stain because temperature should not less 50º f in 24 hours. Your decks need proper dryness that why it is applied in the morning so it can dry properly. For deck stain you can find four types of stain such as clear water repellent stain, colored water repelled stain, semi transparent stains and solid stain. The clear water repellent and colored water repelled stain are similar in features like it gives protection against UV to your deck and it is durable for at least 6 month to 2 years. On the other hand, semi transparent stain is one of the steps of colored water repelled product in which addition of tinting keeps your deck safe from UV and waterproof for almost 3 year. The other type of stain is solid stain which is long lasting for outdoors wood stain.
